Where we are

Amongst the qualities for its location, the Hotel Piroscafo has the one of being in pedestrian zone of Desenzano, and even so it is easily accessible to guests who want to reach the hotel by car for the normal loading and unloading luggage operation.

The access to the pedestrian area is controlled by remote controlled barriers which prevent everyday of the week the transit to vehicles from 9pm to 6am and all 24 hour during holidays: who travels during night time or public holidays can anyway arrive to the hotel using the interphone located on the side of the barriers in order to communicate with the reception.

Once the check-in has been carried out it is possible to park the car in a public garage 400 mt. distance from the Hotel, which is in partnership. At the reception are available information how to reach it and vouchers which will allow you discounts - the tariff has to be paid directly at the garage cash desk and the daily tariff for 2011 is 9,00 €.

A story that has started long time ago

The property and the management of the Hotel Piroscafo by the Segattini family begins at the start of the last century, when the transport on the lake was made through sailboats that were entering inside the harbour and the travellers were use to find accommodation and food in a place called Locanda Stella.
